Would you like to explore opportunities to learn about beekeeping? Ride along and help Mike Higbee transport bees in the spring to their mountain locations by truck, offload the hives and place in strategic areas, open up hives, inspect, treat, add pollen patties, split hives, gather queens, etc. There's a lot to learn and experience, and then in the fall there is extracting honey from the honey supers (the boxes of frames with honey stores in the honeycomb).

As soon as our greenhouses are completed, we will also have incredible opportunities to learn Permaculture and Organic farming techniques like no-till, lasagna method of composting, soil rejuvenation and supplementation, drip feed irrigation and automation, aeroponics and grow towers, seed starting, transplanting, grooming, trimming, grafting, propagating, harvesting, and Farmers market sales staffing.

Higbee Honey Farm and Ranch has work to do, and we invite anyone who wants to learn these agricultural niches to inquire.

2025 will be a huge growth year for Higbee Honey and we would love to build our dream with like-minded knowledge seekers and passionate dreamers of a better world.
