Higbee Honey is on a mission to reignite the love affair between humans and honey. Our signature honey is produced by our approximately 3.6 million bees in the beautiful Morgan Valley of Northern Utah. Morgan Valley Wildflower Honey is a unique blend of alfalfa, thistle, sunflower, aster and sometimes sage nectars, among others. In addition to our signature Morgan Valley Wildflower Honey, we also source the highest-quality, specialty and exotic honeys from the US and around the world. Each of our specialty honeys are also raw and unfiltered, to provide you the best quality and nutrition.
Michael Higbee is the founder and owner of Higbee Honey, a company based in Morgan, Utah, specializing in pure, raw, unfiltered honey. His journey into beekeeping began in 2017, and by 2019, he established Higbee Honey to share the superior quality of hive-fresh honey with a broader audience. Before dedicating himself full-time to beekeeping, Michael served for a decade as a member of the Utah Air National Guard, supporting federal missions. Although he found fulfillment in his military service, his passion for beekeeping led him to transition into the honey industry. Under Michael's leadership, Higbee Honey offers nine varieties of gourmet honey, catering to discerning consumers both locally in Northern Utah and nationally through their website. The company also provides additional services such as gift baskets, swarm removal, and pollination services.
In 2025, Michael expanded the company's offerings to include "Work and Learn" opportunities, and a Culinary Honey-Themed Tour to Greece September 20-28, 2025, inviting individuals to gain hands-on experience in beekeeping and sustainable agriculture. Work and learn associates/participants can accompany him in transporting bees to mountain locations, conducting hive inspections, and extracting honey. Future plans involve teaching permaculture and organic farming techniques once their greenhouses are completed. Michael's commitment to quality and education reflects his dedication to both his craft and community, fostering a deeper appreciation for natural, unprocessed honey and sustainable farming practices.
