Higbee Honey will never bottle its honey in plastic for a few reasons.

The use of glass containers to store honey has been a long-standing practice, and for good reason. Glass is non-porous and does not allow any air or bacteria to enter the container, thus preserving the quality of honey.

Additionally, glass is heat resistant and can be used to safely decrystallize your honey by placing the jar into a pot of warm water (not to exceed 110°). This ensures that your honey will remain in its liquid form without compromising its taste or texture.

Furthermore, glass containers are also more aesthetically pleasing than plastic ones and can be used for decorative purposes as well. Ultimately, Higbee Honey's use of glass containers is an excellent choice for storing your favorite honey!
